Review: Benefit Bella Bamba Blush

I finally purchased Benefit Bella Bamba Blush, this is the ideal shade of blusher for me as I love coral colours.

It is describes as a '3D watermelon blush' and it aims to give the illusion of sculpted cheekbones. I'm not sure if it actually does this but I love the beautiful coral shade and the gold shimmer together giving a natural flush to the cheeks that isn't too obvious.

Another great thing about the blush is that it is really easy to blend in so if you accidentally got a little OTT on the blush you can easily get it to look normal on your cheeks.

As with most Benefit products, the packaging is just so cute. I love these boxes as you have the mirror which makes any on the go touch up's easier and an all-in-one box is so much easier to use. It also comes with the Benefit brush but I prefer to use my Real Techniques blusher brush.

I think I have a new favourite blush. Next on my list is a Nars blush but I'm not sure which one.
Do you have any suggestions and favourites?

Review: Sleek Blush

Sleek Blush (£4.30) Superdrug

Another one of the items that I bought in my little Superdrug haul!

I have always liked the Sleek products other than the Superdrug which I can get to the easiest is always sold out of the items I want, so I had a little look and saw that they had the blushes in.
I've  heard such good things about the blushes and thought I had to buy one. I originally wanted the new Sleek Blush by 3 palette which they didn't have :(

I picked up 'Life's a Peach' which is a gorgeous pastel matte peach colour, I was immediately drawn to this blush as I thought it would look so pretty in the summer and I love peach colour!

When I swatched the blush I thought of wow, the colour looks quite bright in the palette but once I tried it the colour was subtle but really pretty at the same time. I can't wait to wear it.

I also love the packaging of the blush as they have the little mirror inside which is great for travelling or for touching up during the day if you have it in your make up bag. I love the simple, sleek black packaging aswell it makes the product look more expensive than it actually is.

There are so many other shades of the Sleek blushes I want, I'm into blushes right now and these are great quality, affordable and have a great range of shades available.

Do you have any Sleek blushes that you'd recommend?

Review: Benefit Hervana

Here is my new little beauty! Benefit Hervana. This was one of my first posts on the blog and I have finally got my hands on it. I purchased it from Buyapowa and paid £17.50 instead of the normal £23.50 which made me happier. I received the item over the weekend when I wasn't here so I was really excited to open it when I found out.

The blusher is a mix of 4 colours; a champagne, a beige, a pink and a purple. Swished all together and it gives a cool flushed look. It is supposed to make you look angelic (the name meaning Her Nervana). I love absolutely everything about this blush, the packaging is beautiful and the colours just look gorgeous. I find it so satisfying being able to swish the brush around and to pick up all the different shades that are available.

I haven't tried the blush yet so I'm super excited to do so, I think it will look so pretty to wear and just make my face glow. I love the way the packaging opens, I haven't had a Benefit blush before so can't really compare it to any of the others. Its safe to say that it is love however :)
I'd love to get my hands on some more of the blushers by Benefit, £23.50 just seems alot for the product but I suppose they're investments and will last ageeees. It's definitely going to look pretty on my dressing table.

What do you think of the Hervana blush? Have you got your hands on it?

Review: Revlon Blush Lipstick

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Blush (Boots) £7.99

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Blush Shade (035), I picked this up from Boots when it was £5.00 but I think they're gone back up to full price now :(

I love this pinky nude shade it looks lovely on the lips. It's not drying or sticky on the lips which is always a good thing. It's an easy shade to wear and shows up really well on the lips with just one application on the lips.

It has great staying power too which is always good when it comes to lipsticks.

The packaging on the lipstick is so nice and sleek.

Like I said before, I'm definately going to be picking up more Revlon lipsticks, its just the price which puts me off because £7.49/ 7.99 is quite alot but in comparison to Mac lipsticks ar £13.50 it is really good.

Can you recommended any other Revlon lipsticks to add to my collection?

Also some days I've been putting up 2 posts a day and I'm wondering if people would want me to put one up daily instead of two in one day?

Benefit's New Arrival

I love Benefit products so much, the packaging of the products are so fun and quirky so I was excited when I saw the soon to be released in the UK 'Hervana' Blush

Hervana comes in the new Benefit blusher box and has a magnetic lid that flips up and revelals the gorgeous product inside, a mix of pretty pink colours and a handy mirror which allow for touch ups whilst your on the go during the day. Inside the box there is also a small angled brush which will allow for application of the product to be easier.
(the blush itself)

It's labelled as the 'Good Karma' Face Powder and has four shades to be swirled together including lucky shell (lightest shade), divine peach, heavenly rose and berry delight (darkest shade). When using the blush they are all meant to be swirled together to make a gorgeous 'orchid blossom' shade.

Why Benefit love the product.. 'swirl on this orchid-blossom blush for a heavenly flush of enlightenment! These four shades—lucky shell, divine peach, heavenly rose and berry delight—blend together perfectly to lift your look to cloud 9'.

I can't wait for this product to be released in the UK, I will definately be adding this to my make-up wishlist for 2012.

What are your thoughts on the product? Will you be heading out to purchase 'Hervana'?
