Weekend Wishlist #004 Pastels

I've finally finished uni for my Easter Holidays (yaaaay)
I'm a pretty skint student right now but I can't wait for the last bit of loan for this year to fill up my bank account, part of its going towards my holiday to Florida and the rest is for me :) I'm living through wishlists at the moment, this is more fun because I can choose the things I want but it makes me want so so so much more!

It doesn't help stalking blogs and youtube videos looking at hauls of make-up and clothes that people have bought.. oh I want so much.

Theres alsorts of little bits and bobs that I need to pick up when I next go shopping; collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer, new mascara - any recommendations? I'm thinking the Loreal Telescopic, shoes - brogues or pumps for the summer/ spring time and possibly some new jewellery! Along with the Real Techniques stippling brush, blush brush and core collection... I think I've just spent my loan all at once!

Whats on your wishlist for this weekend?

Review: Bourjois Eyeshadow Review

Little Pot Eyeshadow (£6.99) Boots

I took advantage of the Boots 3 for 2 offer on make-up the other day and decided to give all you little lovelies a review of the little things I bought.
The first is a Bourjois eyeshadow, its a mineral pigment eyeshadow and the shade is number 5. I
think its the shade rose dragree.

When looking at the packaging, I don't think Boujois can go wrong with their little round pots. They're the perfect size for make-up bags and handbags, plus they look cute displayed on dressing tables. The little button and magnet also make them ideal for carrying around, because they're less likely to spill and the little mirror inside is handy for looks on the go.

These little round pots consist of a rich powder formular comprised of 87% mineral pigments to ensure great coverage and great depth. The formula is smooth which makes them really blendable and its great for illuminating and highlighting, aswell as looking pretty as a base/ main colour.

I am in love with this eyeshadow, I didn't think it would be possible but yes it is ladies. It's such a pretty colour! I can't stop looking at it.

I love shimmery eyeshadows and wanted to build my collection of natural yet shimmery eyeshadows, that can be worn both in the daytime and in the evening.
I also thought that it would be great as a highlight on the brow bone and on the cheeks because of the light texture of the shadow.

There is also 0% fall out when I put it on my eyelid and when I was applying it to the brush, which is always good as thats something that annoys me about some cheaper eyeshadows as half of it ends up down your face somewhere.

What do you think of the colour? Can you recommend any other Bourjois products? I'm wanting a little pot blush next :)

Weekend Wishlist #003

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

My Weekend Wish-list, I could have had 251414 times on this list but decided to cut it down to just 6, difficult I must say! Doesn't you hate it when there's so much you want but you have so little money, bring on the 4th April (student loan day!!!)

001. The stud dip dye jumper is so cute and perfect for the springtime, as its not necessarily warm enough all day for strappy dresses and shorts but this would be perfect in the evening time, or even during the day. The colours are lovely!

002. Another coral item and its a makeup bag, just perfect!!! One of my favourite colours, and the studded details adds a little something extra to it.

003. The t-shirt is just so cute, some may find it a little creepy. But for some reason it just stands out to me, just the price tag that kinda puts me off.

004. I've heard alot about this highlighter, and actually don't own one. This is perfect for those who want to save a little money on make-up items and its meant to be a really good product too. I'd heard it has been discontinued so they must have brought it back for the spring/ summer.

005. How amazing is this clutch? The perfect colour for spring/ summer, as the nude colours allow it to go with any item of clothing and the neon pink just make it even more perfect in my eyes. Definately need to purse this. It's a good size too, which means it would be good for daytime use too.

006. I just always lust over MAC products, I've wanted this for soooo long after I'd read great reviews about it, and it would look so pretty in the spring/ summertime and brighten up a face. Maybe I need to make the splurge and purchase this.

I didn't have room to fit on the Real Techniques Core Collection, blush brush, stippling brush and all the other brushes in the range. I've heard so much about them, how good they are so I feel like I NEED them so so so much!!

Procrastination

This is just a little apology about my lack of blogposts lately! As we all know sometimes life can get in the way and at the moment, its deadlines getting in my way. I've been busy lately living life, I was in Belfast last weekend and genuinely haven't had time to get my assignments finished!

I always panic when I don't have them finished a few days before, or at least a week before, as it then gives me time to read through and make changes to them. I'm very organised at the moment though as I have lists of what needs to be done, the sections of the assignment I have finished, and if it needs to be prove read, yes boring but so so so helpful for myself.

I'm also lacking on money at the moment which means I can't go out and buy all the Real Techniques brushes that I'm dreaming and lusting about, the new Maybelline Colour Tattoos and a couple of the Revlon Lip Butters. (Yes, I genuinely have a wish list of the things that I'm wanting when my loan comes in!) Just reading blogposts about them are making me want them even more.

I promise that once I have handed in all my assignments and have some interesting things to blog about I will. I once again want to thank each and every one of my followers and anyone else that reads it but doesn't follow me. In the next couple of days I'm going to set up a HelloCotton or Bloglovin' account to link my blog to so people can follow me via that.

I hope your all enjoying this lovely weather and if you have any looming deadlines your getting through them! One thing that helps me is Pepsi Max or no sugar Vimto... I'm also having to start thinking about my dissertation, thats the scary part (eeeh)

Life: Belfast Weekend

This weekend was spent in Belfast, I went there Friday evening and came back Sunday afternoon. It was so nice being able to spend St Patrick's Weekend in Ireland, it was also interesting as I'd never flown before and that was an experience in its own. Above are just a few snaps of what we spent this weekend doing which was mainly drinking, eating and having fun with friends in Belfast! I'm actually in love with the irish accent and just the city as a whole, it was so nice being away from Sheffield but I never wanted to go home. Just looking back at the photographs now is making me want to be there. I'd love to go and spend more time there because the whole place is beautiful how it goes from the city to the countryside and the shore. Just one of the best weekends.

Life: London Weekend

Sorry for the picture heavy post!
These are a few photos from my little weekend in London, it was very good and exhausting but well worth it. We went Friday til Sunday, went on the London eye (wow it was AMAZING), saw all the tourist attractions, ate alot, drank, shopped, walked, caught the tube soooo many times, went to see Jersey Boys that was an amazing experience and well worth seeing (I'd definately recommend it), went to a few bars in Soho - which was a strange experience, went over to the o2 arena to the British Music Experience which was great! There's so much to say but I don't want to bore you all.

I loved Forever 21 so much, there was alot I wanted to buy, we were meant to go back to Carnaby Street to go in Monki and Cheap Mondays but didn't have time on the last day :(

It was just such a good weekend, another good thing about the weekend was the weather as it was sunny the day we were mainly walking around.

I hope your all enjoying the weather at the moment, I love the springtime and its so nice having lighter nights and nice weather

Beauty Tag

I wanted to do a post but wasn't sure what, I didn't want to do another review so I thought I'd do something a little bit different... A BEAUTY TAG!
Before I start, I'll tag anyone that reads this (:

How many times do you wash your face daily? I wash it everyday, in the morning I use my no7 beauty cleanser and in the evening I use face wipes.
What skin type do you have? Normal/ combo - I have mainly normal skin but then at times I get a dry forehead and a oily zones.
What is your current facial wash? No7 foaming cleaner
Is it really important to moisturise? Yes, I always try to do it before I put my make-up on.
How often do you moisturise your face? Everyday.
What foundation do you use? Bourjois Healthy Mix serum! I'm in love with it, it feels so nice on your skin, I'll do a proper review one day. I'm always looking for a good 'drug-store' foundation.
How about concealer? Collection 2000 concealer, the famous one ;)
What do you think of fake eyelashes? They're okay, I don't wear them myself as I have quite long lashes anyway and just don't like to mess about.
Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months? No, I didn't actually know that, oooops.
What brand of mascara do you use? I have a post about mascaras, but mainly Maxfactor false lash effect.
What make up tools do you use in make up application? ELF powder brush, eyeshadow brush (if I wear shadow), eyelash curlers, powder brush, blush brush
Do you use make up base/primer for the eyes? I really should use a primer but I don't! I want to get my hands on the MUA one.
What is your favourite eye shadow? Hmmm not quite sure.
Do you line your eyes? Yes, I wear eye liner practically every day.
Do you use pencil or liquid eye liner? Liquid liner alll the way!
How often do you poke your eyes with an eye liner pencil? Quite often especially with mascara.
What is your favourite lipstick? I don't really have a favourite one, probably Rimmel Mauve something, I can't remember.
How about lip gloss? Nothing wrong with Vaseline!
What blush on do you use? At the moment Benefit Hervana.
Do you buy your make up on eBay? Sometimes but I worry that it might be fake so don't do it that often, unless its a product thats been discontinued.
Do you like drug store make up? Yes, I really do. I could never afford to buy high end brands all the time, I'm a student after all. Plus some of them are really good quality and dupes for other items.

Review: Benefit Hervana

Here is my new little beauty! Benefit Hervana. This was one of my first posts on the blog and I have finally got my hands on it. I purchased it from Buyapowa and paid £17.50 instead of the normal £23.50 which made me happier. I received the item over the weekend when I wasn't here so I was really excited to open it when I found out.

The blusher is a mix of 4 colours; a champagne, a beige, a pink and a purple. Swished all together and it gives a cool flushed look. It is supposed to make you look angelic (the name meaning Her Nervana). I love absolutely everything about this blush, the packaging is beautiful and the colours just look gorgeous. I find it so satisfying being able to swish the brush around and to pick up all the different shades that are available.

I haven't tried the blush yet so I'm super excited to do so, I think it will look so pretty to wear and just make my face glow. I love the way the packaging opens, I haven't had a Benefit blush before so can't really compare it to any of the others. Its safe to say that it is love however :)
I'd love to get my hands on some more of the blushers by Benefit, £23.50 just seems alot for the product but I suppose they're investments and will last ageeees. It's definitely going to look pretty on my dressing table.

What do you think of the Hervana blush? Have you got your hands on it?

Sunday Summary 006

001. What a busy and exciting weekend I've had! I set off to London at 9am Friday morning and get back at 10pm Sunday evening. I had such a great weekend, sight-seeing, shopping, eating, walking, walking, walking, walking and most importantly Jersey Boys. I'd never been to a West End show before and it was amazing, such a great experience and just such a nice weekend.

002. I had a lovely surprise when I got home it was my Benefit Hervana that I'd purchased on Buyapowa last week. I was so excited when I opened it, it was so pretty and lovely and I can't wait to use it as today I've just relaxed and done university work that needs to be done. Eeeeeeek I have such a big list that I need to write to complete.

003. I also want to buy ALL the Real Techniques brushes, I saw them in my local Boots the other and opened the packaging and wow it was the softest thing I have touched brush wise :) any suggestions which one to get first?

I have a few posts planned for this week :)
Hope you all had a great weekend
